Hip Hop Jesus: FOL Family, come support our very own Bro. Esun Morales, Sis. Mary Thomas, Sis. Billie Fuller Graham, and Sis. Milly Grafenauer on Resurrection Sunday as they and others perform in "Hip Hop Jesus," a powerful, modern stage play co-directed by Min. Ali Gee-Lewis. This dramatic play blends hip-hop culture, spoken word, rap, and theater to tell the story of Jesus Christ in a raw, urban, present-day world. It brings the gospel to the streets--showing redemption, identity, and transformation through music, dance, and real-life struggles--so that today's generation can see that Jesus still saves, heals, and restores. FOL Men’s Ministry - Bowling Event: FOL Men's Ministry Bowling Event on Saturday, April 11, from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM at Schwoegler Park Towne Lanes, located at 444 Grand Canyon Drive. The cost per person for bowling and shoe rental is $15, however do not let cost be a barrier from attending. RSVP Here.

Baptism:  On Sunday, May 31 we will celebrate baptism after our Sunday service. This is a sacred time of standing with people in this church and celebrating their commitment to God. If you are interested in getting baptized, there are a few steps. The first step is to fill out this form to communicate your interest. Pastor Úna will follow up with you to talk about the process and answer any questions. Second, each baptism candidate is required to attend a baptism class. These are on April 26, May 10, and May 17.

Women's Ministry Book Study: Join the FOL Women’s Ministry for a book study as we grow in confidence and embrace God’s truth. We will learn from Killing Comparison: Reject the Lie You Aren’t Good Enough and Live Confident in Who God Made You to Be by Nona Jones. FOL SNAP Benefits Cut Response: We are continuing to encourage our congregation to fill out an FOL SNAP Response form either online or through one of the half sheets on the back table (which you can turn in with the offering). If you need food assistance, want to donate, or want to commit to exit to serve, please fill these out. Also, we have links to information on food resources here.

Pastor Alex Gee challenged us to boycott greed and consumerism, to have conversation with God about our resources. These are the specific steps he challenged us with:

1. Ask God to show you your own views towards you financial resources.
2. How has that changed over your financial growth or decline?
3. Lean in the next few sermons about biblical discipleship and stewardship to receive direction from the Holy Spirit.
4. Put your faith in God's promises to the test by practicing sacrificial giving as an act of faith, love, and discipleship (which is partnership with God!).

Maternal Mental Health Groups: Anesis Therapy will be hosting free peer support and therapy groups for mothers and mothers to be—all moms are welcome! The peer support sessions will be led by a specialist with lived experience and will begin April 7th. Following these sessions, clinicians will lead a 3 week group therapy series beginning May 9th to continue to support mothers' mental health. For more information, please see Sis.
