Top Volunteer Opportunities

The following areas are designated “top” volunteer opportunities.

Several areas in our church would be blessed with volunteers who are gifted with office/clerical skills. Many short-term and long-term opportunities are available. The duties range from room set-up, making copies, assembly, record-keeping, telephone work, filing and hosting.

Exit to Serve

The Children’s Ministry desires volunteers who have a heart for serving and loving children. Helpers are needed, both for long-term and short-term events and activities. If you have a passion and gift for teaching children, we need you too! See the Children’s Ministry for more information and please note all volunteers are required to undergo and successfully pass a background check before working with the Children’s Ministry.

Do you love youth? Do you find yourself connecting and bonding with young people easily? Do you have a heart to “love youth to Christ where the truth of God’s love is revealed, and healing of the mind, soul, and body can begin”? If so, the Youth FOLife needs you! The Welcome Team, which consists of ushers, greeters, hospitality members, and parking lot attendants exists to make sure everyone who enters FOL feels the presence of God’s Love and leaves knowing they are important and welcome. Greeters welcome worshippers into the church. Ushers seat worshippers and ensure the atmosphere of worship is maintained in the sanctuary. Hospitality members plan and prepare any FOL event which requires food. This group sets up, takes down, and make sure the event runs smoothly.

The Media /Sound Team consists of the CD Ministry, PowerPoint Ministry, and Sound Team. All three of these teams work together each Sunday to ensure media and sound are successfully integrated during the Worship service.
