Pastor’s Family

I am so proud of my family. They support me in ministry and serve along with me by sharing me with those in need and those I lead around the country.

Jackie and I met in college. She was a track star and I only knew her through newspaper clippings. We met at church in August of 1985 and I prayed with her when she came forth to offer her life to the Lord after a sermon giving by my aunt Evangelist Bessie Fleming. We were good friends for two years before dating. Just recently, June (2008), Jackie and I celebrated our twentieth wedding anniversary. We have a wonderful daughter, Catherine Alexis (Lexi) Gee.

Jackie enjoys: gardening, going to the movies, helping Lexi’s soccer team with snacks, coordinating Lexi’s massive neighborhood sleepovers and volunteering at Lexi’s school.

Lexi must’ve known that her parents’ hearts were hurting for a child due to two premature births and deaths of our daughters. Not due until March of 1997, Lexi decided to come into the world Thanksgiving Weekend of 1996, weighing on 24oz. Thanks to God, city-wide prayer meeting, great medical staff and a tough little preemie, Lexi became healthy after a three month stay in the hospital.

Lexi enjoys: reading, spelling bees, email, sleepovers, collecting American Girl dolls, playing with babies, playing flute, dancing, singing, soccer, softball and playing with neighborhood friends.
