Becca Grant, Director, Arts

Becca was raised in a liturgical Lutheran church, served as an InterVarsity campus minister for several years after college, and has been a member of FOL since 1998. Much of her ministry involves combining these diverse streams of church life.

Music has been vital to Becca’s life since learning the piano as a child. Since then, she’s gained formal music instruction at UW-Madison, and an equally significant informal education playing with jazz and gospel ensembles and vocalists. Becca sang in choirs from an early age, has dabbled in dance and theater, and loves to write songs.

As a campus minister, she planted a ministry in the UW School of Music, discipled many student leaders, served as spiritual counsel and music director for the UW Gospel Choir, and led worship for several large conferences.

Becca and her husband make their home within walking distance to FOL, and she is a happy mama of two. She enjoys playing in her vegetable garden.
